Environmental Designer
Sept 2024 - Present
Same company, different country. London is technically the headquarters of Atelier Ten, and since graduating I have been working here full time. I collaborate closely with our engineers as well as external design teams (architects, structural engineers, facade consultants, landscape and ecologists, etc) and clients to optimise building design and performance. I have done a lot of energy modelling, benchmarking (BREEAM, WELL, Fitwel), and work with the circular economy and materials / embodied carbon calculations so far.

Another experience I got myself into via a happy accident. Founder of Aristotal, Gary Swabel, has a son studying Design Engineering at Imperial College. His son was part of my masters’s thesis research and we connected in this way. Long story short, one of my good friend’s, Tejas Gorla, built their product and is now working full time. Aristotal is a professional development tool for school teachers leveraging LLMs. It’s a great idea and it’s doing really well. I help them from time to time with PR - getting invites to conferences, drafting press releases, and aiming for exposure and stories from journalists.
Social Capital Initiatives, London Chapter Committee

I met Geeta Mehta through a university project and connected her with my aunt Lisa. This was ages ago, and since then I have learned quite a lot about her impressive charity and the work she does. I have been an adhoc volunteer, helping with event programming and research tasks when necessary. Since 2025, I have been on the committee of the London Chapter with Monika and Myra in efforts to get momentum going to do projects locally.
Tutoring
March 2021 - Present
I have been mentoring and tutoring students of all ages, from 8-18 years for several years. From conversational english lessons to engineering projects I am comfortable in a wide range of tuition. I specialise in admissions mentoring and interview prep and I have a 100% success rate with my students. I have also taught 2-8 week courses on design engineering and the like.
Environmental Design Intern

Atelier Ten is an international design consultancy with expertise on projects ranging from landscape, water, light, building envelopes, public spaces, communal areas, the list goes on. In this role I worked under their Senior Environmental Designers in Singapore, helping across different projects from sustainability benchmarking and frameworks, presenting material to clients, marketing assets, to basic climate analyses and simulations.
Karfu Intern
July - Oct 2022
I worked mostly as a research intern that dabbled in data analytics and visualisations to help this B-Corp startup improve on their life cycle model of various modes of transportation (EVs, ICEs, scooters, bicycles). Karfu’s goal is to create a mobility comparison platform where consumers can input various constraints and desires related to time, money, commute distance, and other variables. They are then given an optimised option in terms of vehicle selection. A partially remote internship with some time spent in the offices in London, this was a great experience to learn about sustainable start-ups and the process of raising funds and launching the first form of a product live.
The Future Living Intern
April - September 2022
This was part time work for a very early-stage sustainable start-up. Run by women and based in Berlin, I joined the team (completely remote) as someone who helped mostly with the marketing side: coordinating internal and external newsletters with sendinblue. I got to see what it means to structure and grow a start-up, and especially to work with governments and universities more on the policy side of things.

I was the Marketing team for this university-based incubator (made for students, by students) for nearly my whole university degree. I helped put together internal and external newsletters, recruit students and professional mentors to be a part of the program, and help organise virtual and in-person events and activities.

Summer work for a really cool sustainable start-up in Wembley. I got to visit their facility, see their working prototype, and interact with the team while most of my work was focused on content creation, curation, and web design.
