Although I can’t give precise detail as this was a project I worked on alongside a close friend’s mom during one of my stays in Singapore, I had a lot of fun getting creative within the bounds of the Brief.
We were responding to a Tender to renovate and take over an outdoor pool restaurant space at a member’s club in Singapore. These sketches were to give the general vibe and illustrate strategies that promote sustainability and occupant comfort.
It’s crazy that these sketches by hand on an iPad took several hours each - an enjoyable process, but certainly a long one. This was in 2023 for reference…
Now as I revisit the project to share it, I have access to GPT5 and several other large language models capable of generating images from text and/or image input. I have also included some results from having a go with GPT. Better or worse this way?
