Intro to Design Engineering
These aren’t my proudest moments in design, but to me they are worth showcasing to demonstrate my progress over time – holistically as a design engineering student, but also just with my use of Adobe softwares.
For my first ever design brief, we were meant to explore and document Energy in The Home.
For part two of this assignment we were tasked with redesigning a product to improve the sustainability of an energy intense process within the home.
Below are links to the pdfs of my full submissions, and below are highlights summarising the progression of each.
My final product design was The Better Blow Drier repurposed to make use of the abundance of air-con exhaust produced in hot tropical climates like Singapore. The product is designed to reroute dry air back inside to aid with household chores like clothes drying.
